VDL Agrotech introduces a renewed flexible transport auger system that is designed to fit in any practical situation.

The Flex 2009 system is developed as a modular system.

All feed-intake hoppers of Flex2009 and VDL feeding tubes have standardized sizes and the silo boots, hoppers, covers and Y-pieces are mutually interchangeable.

The essential feed-intake components of the system as the feed-intake hopper and the steel rotating bearing flange are universally applicable to the 3 different diameters of 60, 75 and 90 mm.

This bearing flange with standard bearing unit has 3 modes for the position of any size tension shaft.

This standardization results in a significant reduction of  stock.

The principal of the Flex 2009 system is based on simplicity, durability and user friendliness. Besides easy installation also further inspection and service require small effort.

The silo boot incorporates a shut-off slide above the feed-intake hopper. The bearing flange and the tension shaft with auger connection are accessible by removing just 1 bolt. The feed-intake hopper can be removed by  unscrewing 4 bolts even with a full silo.

Material and finishing selection.

To achieve an optimal price / quality ratio durable and wear-resistant materials are selected. The most wear sensitive parts are made of stainless steel while other parts are made of galvanised steel. For example, the silo boots made of hot 2 mm dip galvanized steel  are much stronger and durable than plastic used by other suppliers.

The end bearing is enclosed in a solid plastic bearing block with special dust and moisture protection seal for a longer lifetime.

Quick assembly.

Flex2009 system with galvanized silo boot with flange connection designed to fit the steel intake - hoppers (pre-assembled with sealing gaskets). Minimum of bolt connections for quick assembly. The modular concept allows quick assembly and easy modification.
