Broiler Breeder Project – Visit us at the VIV Europe

VDL Agrotech and VDL Jansen have recently completed a new project in the Netherlands: a broiler breeder house fully equipped with VDL systems.



The house features two rows of Premium+ laying nests, chain feeding systems for hens with Chainovation, and a Matrix feeding system for males. It also includes a feed transport system from the silo to the hopper, drinking lines, and an advanced manure solution: the EMS system.



This eliminates the need for a traditional manure pit. The EMS system includes a manure belt beneath the slats, which can be rolled up frequently. Regular removal of manure reduces the build-up of ammonia and fine dust.
