Project Video: Two Broiler Breeder Houses
Our dealer, Baarlink Agrarsysteme, has completed two 80 × 25 m broiler breeder houses in Germany. The compact site is used efficiently, which shortens daily inspection times. The project is now in operation. Both houses include two rows of Premium+ laying nests (VDL Jansen), eight Chainovation chain feeding circuits for hens, and Matrix male feeding systems from VDL Agrotech (two side lines and one center line).
Chainovation, developed with breeding associations, distributes feed at variable speeds up to 3,000 kg/h, giving birds near‑simultaneous access and a calm start. Matrix provides males with more space and comfort, equal portions, and side‑by‑side eating, which reduces stress for males and females. The Premium+ nest has been refined for more than 35 years in close collaboration with breeding companies and offers a quiet, sheltered laying area with exceptionally high nest acceptance.
